Registration, Submission of Abstracts and Financial Support

Online registration and abstract submission is accessible through the SnT2025 Conference platform with a submission deadline of 14 January 2025 at 23:59 UTC. No registration fee will be charged. The working language of the conference is English.

Authors are asked to choose the appropriate theme and topic when submitting the abstract (maximum 200 words) of their presentation. Authors can select their preferred format as an oral or an e-poster presentation. However, it is possible that some contributions submitted as oral may be assigned as e-posters by the organizers. The selection of abstracts will be based on quality and relevance to the themes and topics of the conference. The Scientific Programme Group may reassign an abstract to an alternative topic in order to maintain a coherent scientific programme. By submitting an abstract, authors agree to the publication of their abstract and presentation material by the CTBTO. Accepted abstracts will be made available on the SnT2025 Confeerence platform in addition to being compiled in the SnT2025 book of abstracts. A peer reviewed collection of publications will be produced from a selection of all abstracts submitted.

Note that when you enter co-authors, the Indico system will search to see whether a profile/account already exists for the author/co-author. If it does not, you will have to create a profile for them. Please be extremely careful with your data entry as this profile will be added to the book of abstract. Authors/Co-authors properly entered will thus appear in the list of authors, which will be included in the program and in the author index of the book of abstract. Otherwise information will be incomplete or they will be excluded from the author index in the conference program and in the book of abstract.

Financial support may be available to a limited number of participants. Such assistance must be requested at the time of registration and abstract submission, and must be submitted as early as possible and no later than 14 January 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
Financial support will be considered only for participants who have submitted an abstract that is approved by the Scientific Programme Group. Participants are strongly encouraged to first seek travel and participation funds from non-CTBTO sources.

If you cannot find the answer to your questions on the SnT2025 Conference platform, please email [email protected].
