In November, 2018, CTBTO staff came to Iraq to configure and install the Capacity Building System at our National Data Center comes with some analysis programs, that improved our analysis and come up with a precise location of the earthquakes in Iraq that happened in 25\11\2018 that makes us to differentiate the earthquake or man-made event .The Importance of setting up the CBS is to enable us to constantly monitor and coordinate seismic activities in our region. as well as receiving data by using international Monitoring System (IMS) data and also IDC products for the treaty verification. by accessing and analyzing seismic waveform that raise a public awareness of CTBTO and its verification regime by engaging students in universities and young people who are interested in nuclear nonproliferation research by giving them knowledge about CTBTO and data through sharing our experiences .The Iraqi NDC use data from CTBTO to promote nonproliferation objectives and scientific applications. Our detection of the Iraq earthquakes is an example of scientific applications related to nonproliferation issues. The proposed paper will focus on the role and comparison between Iraq earthquake in 2017 and 2018 and how the CBS improves the processing capabilities for SHI data.
