Description
The Affinity is presented as a replacement for the long-running DM24-based digitizer products incorporating Authentication capability. A key design concept is that the operator experience should be the same as far as possible, in order to minimise the learning curve, and maximise the existing investment in knowledge and experience. Both devices are compared, and the commonalities and differences highlighted in the areas of the hardware interfaces, the software usage, the features and the performance. The Affinity is a drop-in replacement for the existing digitizers, whilst adding new functionality. Therefore, it is ideally suited to the long term sustainment and technology refreshment of IMS stations.
