Description
The objective of this poster is to present the background, scope, objective and technical protocol of a Pilot Inter-laboratory Comparison Study organized between three research laboratories to refine sensor specifications and testing methodologies for the infrasound technology. In the initiation phase of the Pilot Study, participating laboratories and the PTS came to a consensus on working terminology for quantities to be measured: self-noise, frequency response, sensitivity, dynamic range and pass-band. The poster will include the agreed set of definitions. The poster will also describe how this Pilot Study relates to PTS development axes and mid-term plan.
