Description

Changing the coordinates or responsibility of the IMS stations Member states could propose amendments to the treaty. Changes would be implemented after EIF. Resolving issues of commissioning of the stations should be dealt with without (if possible) changing the treaty. Para five of part I of protocol: the methods of cooperation between the CTBTO and hosting countries should, on a case by case basis, be organized in separate agreements. Changing the coordinates or the responsibility of the IMS stations should be carried out in accordance with paragraphs seven & eight of article VII of the treaty. Sub-Para eight (a) of the article VII: additional inf. of evaluation of change proposals could be prepared by DG and member states. Operationalization of all seismic stations The IMS is capable of monitoring natural events, human activities, airplane crashes, transmitting those data to the IDC. Geometrical layout have resulted in further wave coverage for the seismography stations, detection of distributed frequencies in the atmosphere and underwater for the IS and HA facilities, and in the tracking of the atmospheric air current for RN facilities.
