 GR)\, Hannover\, Germany)\n\nThe Primary Seismic Array PS19 GERES and the 
 Infrasound Array IS26 are located in the Bavarian Forest and are operated 
 by the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR). From
  2017 to 2019 extensive GERES refurbishment and recapitalization construct
 ion works were performed in the area which also had an impact for local po
 pulation and tourists as cabling exchange disrupted hiking trails. After c
 ompletion BGR organized an Open Day for the local population and tourists 
 on 25 August 2019. Besides the chance to see the station elements\, a comp
 rehensive exhibition with information kiosks about CTBT monitoring\, seism
 icity\, infrasound sources and many other topics BGR is engaged with was p
 rovided. In front of the facility building a little folk festival with reg
 ional food and drinks as well as traditional brass music took place. Durin
 g the day around 600 people visited the site at a remote place which seems
  kind of mysterious for the normal population. But after the open day they
  knew more about the purpose of the facility and the whole IMS an how moni
 toring works.  \nParts of the exhibition were also shown several weeks lat
 er when Vienna based diplomats were invited to visit the station site and
